Correlation between DaTscan SBR in the Striatum and SBR prediction from the Midbrain surface deformation maps.

High correlation between the observed DaTscan SBR in the Striatum and the SBR predictions from the Midbrain surface deformation maps. The predicted DaTScan SBR values also showed a clear reduction over time, comparable with the longitudinal changes observed with the actual SBR data.

The predicted SBR values are highly correlated with the observed SBR values for each of the striatum regions under consideration, with a minimum value of r=0.65 for the left Pallidum and a maximum value of r=0.8 for the right Caudate.

Remarkably, the predicted SBR values also showed a significant reduction over time comparable with that obtained with the actual SBR data, highlighting the usefulness of the fitted PLS model to predict actual SBR data.
