SUVR comparison for regional SUVR in a cohort of amyloid PET images. In all cases, the SUVR values of both blurring approaches are extremely close each other.
The SUVR comparison of data processed with Hoffman phantom kernels and the SPITFIRE™ approach is presented in the figure for several brain ROIs: Anterior Cingulate Cortex, Occipital Cortex, Deep White Matter, and Pons, where the SUVR was computed using the Cerebellum as a reference region.
Notice that the SUVR values obtained with both approaches are extremely similar. For all cases the correlation value between the two approaches was greater than 0.99, with only small differences observed in the Pons ROI, likely due to the small size of this region.
Although only 4 ROIs are presented in this figure, the correlation coefficient was also computed for the following ROIs: Frontal Cortex, Lateral Temporal Cortex, Medial Temporal Cortex, Occipital Pole, Parietal Cortex, Posterior Cingulate Cortex, Precuneus, Sensorimotor Cortex, Striatum, Thalamus, and Ventral Striatum. In all cases, the correlation coefficient was also greater than 0.99.
